I know that I haven't been on here in a while; I have not had internet. BUT I'm back! Anyway so the title for today's blog is South Africa. Why? I'm about to tell you!!

So I have known this family for a while, and their daughter is getting married to this awesome man of God. I got to talking to him about what I want to do to change the world and such. He said to forward and e mail to him and he would send it to his network of people. He travels with Zig Zigler. He is really big in ministry, some of you may know!:) So anyways Mr. Melvin e mailed me about a week ago and here is what it said!!

we have a request from South Africa for Bibles, second hands clothes, shoes etc for youth and children. I am working on the logistics.

Can I ask that you please keep this in prayer. I will send you some more info. I would appreciate if could please pass it on and using your networks, blogs etc. And keep track on a database of all the contacts willing to support this outreach.

CHALLENGE

Who knows what August 24th is?
School starts.. woo. Everybody loves school right. Well this post is about using your influence and changing things in your school.

Part 1: Influence

How can I influence my school? If someone is doing something and you feel the need to do it too, because you want to fit in; DON'T! STAND UP! Don't fall into peer pressure. If someone is getting made fun or or judged, STAND UP! If you are hanging with your friends and they start talking about someone that goes to your shcool, and they are talking bad about that person, STAND UP! Confront them!!! I hate it when teenagers fall into peer pressure because they want to be cool, or they don't stand up for someone even though they know its the right thing to do.

Part 2: Changing your school

At the end of the last part, I was talking about not doing the right thing. A lot of times people will get asked about church, Jesus, or something along that line; and they don't say anything because they are afraid of what someone will think or say. I have news for you.. GOD HAS CALLED MANY, BUT OUR GENERATION IS CHOSEN TO CHANGE THIS WORLD!!! HE WANTS US TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT HIM, WHO DON'T KNOW HIM! HE WANTS US TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE!!! It's so important that we stand up and make a change. We can impact so many!!!

So as school approaches, be thinking about ways you can change your school!

MAKING A DIFFERENCE, AN IMPACT, AND A CHANGE!

Alright, so I'm still working on my changing the music and movie industry. I have sent a letter to Universal Studios. Tomorrow I'm going to send out letters to; Warner Brothers, Death Roe music records... If you know of any big companies please let me know. Also, If any of you feel like God wants you to write to these places as well, then I can give you the information you need to write them. I'm loooking forward to seeing the change take place. I have asked God to make a huge difference in these industries with in one year of our hard work. Last night I came up with something.... Pastor Keith always say Think...Be... Do... so here's what I came up with in that quote.

Think- We are THINKing about what we want to change in the world.
Be- We are being what we want to change; BEing the example.
Do- We are DOing everything to change the world

My world changing ideas!!!

Hey everybody, I have decided to start a blog about everything I want to do to change the world. I believe that our generation WILL change this world for the better! Last night I went to Xcel and heard an AWEmazing message that fired everyone up. The message was about influence. Influence comes from the root word, "influenza" which is the flu. The flu is very contagious. Well influence that we have is very contagious to everyone around us. Anyway so I got home, and I thought about how I can change the world. I thought about what are the main influences on teenagers these days? Well, I came up with movies and movies. So I have decided to write letters to the chairman and CEO's of a lot of music and movie industries. I have sent a couple of letters out already. Universal studios has been producing movies since, 1914. From 2007-2009 here are some movies that have been an influence:

These are the types of movies that influence teenagers to do the wrong things. These movies are sending teenagers messages like its okay to; drink, smoke, do drugs, and have sex (outside of marriage and at very young ages). These things aren't okay. Now let me clarify something, I have a conviction to not drink, but that's my personal opinion. If you don't then that's your deal. My point is, that they are making the impression that EVERYONE drinks so you should, or that its okay to drink under the age of 21. WB produces Harry Potter movies. Personally I have never watch one of their movies, but I know that it's all about witchcraft. Like Pastor Tad and Trey Smith said, "What take in as an influence, that's what you put out".

So my point to you tonight is this, I want to change the world starting by our music and movies. If you feel that God wants you to write letters to these industries as well, then I would love for you to do it with me. Together we WILL change the world!! I'm very excited to see what God is about to do!!
